Anna Man Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison on Methamphetamine Charge
Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Travis Farris (DOB 09-16-1987) of 161 Hillside Terrace in Anna has been sentenced to four (4) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on one count of Unlawful Participation in Methamphetamine Production, a Class 1 Felony. Under Illinois law, Farris must serve at least 75 percent of the sentence. Farris was arrested by Union County Sheriff’s Deputies in March 2012 at a residence on Illinois Route 146 in rural Jonesboro where he was engaged in the production of less than 15 grams of methamphetamine.
