Mar­i­on Man Sen­tenced to Prison for Stolen Vehi­cle

 

Union Coun­ty State’s Attor­ney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that James Robert Webb, Jr. (DOB 09/14/1967) of Mar­i­on, Illi­nois has been sen­tenced to six (6) years in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions after plead­ing guilty to one (1) count of Unlaw­ful Pos­ses­sion of a Stolen Motor Vehi­cle, a Class 2 Felony. Webb will serve a three (3) year peri­od of Manda­to­ry Super­vised Release. Webb was sen­tenced as a Class X offend­er based upon pri­or crim­i­nal his­to­ry. Webb was arrest­ed in Sep­tem­ber 2016 fol­low­ing an inves­ti­ga­tion con­duct­ed by Anna Police. Her­rin Police Depart­ment assist­ed in the inves­ti­ga­tion.
