Jury Finds Carterville Man Guilty of Possession of Methamphetamine
Union County State’s Attorney Daniel Klingemann announced today that Aaron Lee Isaacson (DOB 08/24/1982) of Carterville, Illinois was found guilty yesterday, March 11, 2020, by a Union County Jury on one (1) count of Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, one (1) count of Burglary, one (1) count of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, all Class 2 Felonies, one (1) count of Possession of Burglary Tools, a Class 4 Felony, and one (1) count of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor. Isaacson was arrested in April 2018 by Union County Sheriff’s Deputies following an investigation of missing vehicle parts. A sentencing hearing has been set for April 1, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at the Union County Courthouse in Jonesboro. Isaacson faces between three (3) to seven (7) years in prison. This case was prosecuted by Union County State’s Attorney Daniel Klingemann.
