Jury Finds Anna Man Guilty of Burglary
Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Daniel Jacob Bible (DOB 08/29/1983) of Anna, Illinois was found guilty today by a Union County Jury on one (1) count of Burglary, a Class 2 Felony. Bible entered into a private office at a Jonesboro business with the intent to commit a theft in January 2017. The case was investigated by the Jonesboro Police with assistance from the Union County Sheriff’s Office. A sentencing hearing has been set for August 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Union County Courthouse in Jonesboro. The Class 2 Felony carries a maximum penalty of seven (7) years on prison. Bible remains in custody at the Jackson County Jail in Murphysboro.
