Jones­boro Woman Sen­tenced to Prison for Metham­phet­a­mine Manufacturing

Union Coun­ty State’s Attor­ney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Pol­ly A. Quin­tana (DOB 10/23/1965) of Jones­boro has been sen­tenced to six (6) years in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions on one (1) count of Par­tic­i­pa­tion in Metham­phet­a­mine Man­u­fac­tur­ing, a Class 1 Felony.  Quin­tana will also serve a two (2) year term of Manda­to­ry Super­vised Release (for­mer­ly parole).  Quin­tana was arrest­ed in Jan­u­ary 2017 after an inves­ti­ga­tion by the Union Coun­ty Sheriff’s Office and Union Coun­ty Drug Task Force showed Quin­tana had man­u­fac­tured metham­phet­a­mine at a rur­al Jones­boro res­i­dence between Jan­u­ary and June of 2016.
