Cairo Man Sen­tenced to 66 months for Deliv­ery of Cocaine in Pub­lic Housing

Union Coun­ty State’s Attor­ney Tyler R. Edmonds, act­ing as spe­cial pros­e­cu­tor in Alexan­der Coun­ty, announced today that Bri­an K. Tuck­er (DOB 11/22/1965) of Cairo, Illi­nois has been sen­tenced in the Cir­cuit Court of Alexan­der Coun­ty to six­ty-six (66) months in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions on one (1) count of Unlaw­ful Deliv­ery of Con­trolled Sub­stance on Res­i­den­tial Prop­er­ty Owned by a Pub­lic Hous­ing Agency, a Class 1 Felony.  Tuck­er will also serve a two (2) year peri­od of Manda­to­ry Super­vised Release (for­mer­ly known as Parole).  Tuck­er was charged fol­low­ing an inves­ti­ga­tion by Illi­nois State Police which showed he deliv­ered cocaine in August 2013 at the Elm­wood Place Pub­lic Hous­ing Com­plex in Cairo.
