Anna Man Sen­tenced to 7 Years for Bank Robbery

Union Coun­ty State’s Attor­ney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Chadrick Deon Miller
(DOB 03/04/1987) of Anna, Illi­nois has been sen­tenced to sev­en (7) years in Illi­nois Department
of Cor­rec­tions on one (1) count of Aggra­vat­ed Rob­bery, a Class 1 Felony. Miller will also serve
two (2) years of Manda­to­ry Super­vised Release (for­mer­ly known as Parole).
Miller plead­ed guilty on Octo­ber 2, 2018. Miller was arrest­ed in Novem­ber 2016 by Anna
Police fol­low­ing an inves­ti­ga­tion that deter­mined Miller went into the South­ern Bank formerly
known as Capa­ha Bank in Novem­ber 2016 and threat­ened the employ­ees with the immi­nent use
of force, while ver­bal­ly indi­cat­ing that he was armed with a firearm and took US Cur­ren­cy from
Capa­ha Bank. The case was inves­ti­gat­ed by the Anna Police Depart­ment with assis­tance from
the Union Coun­ty Sher­iffs Office, Illi­nois State Police and Illi­nois State Police Forensic
Sci­ences Command.
