Anna Men Sentenced to Prison for Church Burglaries
Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Kristopher A. Noble (DOB 3/23/1993) andWilliam C. Noble (DOB 12/11/1988), both of 426 East Jefferson Street in Anna, have been sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections in connection with a string of church burglaries in November and December of 2014.
Kristopher A. Noble has been sentenced to seven (7) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to four (4) counts of Burglary, all Class 1 Felonies. Kristopher A. Noble was sentenced as a Class X offender based on his prior criminal history. Kristopher A. Noble pleaded guilty to burglarizing the Big Creek Baptist Church and Saratoga Church, both in rural Union County, the United Pentecostal Church in Dongola and the Mill Creek Baptist Church in Mill Creek.
William C. Noble has been sentenced to four (4) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to two (2) counts of Burglary, both Class 1 Felonies. William C. Noble pleaded guilty to burglarizing the Big Creek Baptist Church in rural Union County and the United Pentecostal Church in Dongola
As part of the sentences, both were ordered to jointly pay nearly $10,000 in restitution. Both were arrested in March 2015 as part of an investigation by the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
