Anna Men Sen­tenced to Prison for Church Bur­glar­ies

Union Coun­ty State’s Attor­ney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Kristo­pher A. Noble (DOB 3/23/1993) andWilliam C. Noble (DOB 12/11/1988), both of 426 East Jef­fer­son Street in Anna, have been sen­tenced to the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions in con­nec­tion with a string of church bur­glar­ies in Novem­ber and Decem­ber of 2014.

Kristo­pher A. Noble has been sen­tenced to sev­en (7) years in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions after plead­ing guilty to four (4) counts of Bur­glary, all Class 1 Felonies.  Kristo­pher A. Noble was sen­tenced as a Class X offend­er based on his pri­or crim­i­nal his­to­ry.  Kristo­pher A. Noble plead­ed guilty to bur­glar­iz­ing the Big Creek Bap­tist Church and Sarato­ga Church, both in rur­al Union Coun­ty, the Unit­ed Pen­te­costal Church in Don­go­la and the Mill Creek Bap­tist Church in Mill Creek.

William C. Noble has been sen­tenced to four (4) years in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions after plead­ing guilty to two (2) counts of Bur­glary, both Class 1 Felonies.  William C. Noble plead­ed guilty to bur­glar­iz­ing the Big Creek Bap­tist Church in rur­al Union Coun­ty and the Unit­ed Pen­te­costal Church in Don­go­la

As part of the sen­tences, both were ordered to joint­ly pay near­ly $10,000 in resti­tu­tion.  Both were arrest­ed in March 2015 as part of an inves­ti­ga­tion by the Union Coun­ty Sheriff’s Office.
