Man Sen­tenced to 9 years in Con­nec­tion with Mul­ti­ple Fires in Ware

Union Coun­ty State’s Attor­ney Tyler R. Edmonds and Union Coun­ty Sher­iff David Livesay announced today that Corey E. Iman (DOB 03-21-1993) of 45 Elm Street in Ware has been sen­tenced to nine (9) years in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions in con­nec­tion with a string of fires in Ware dur­ing the months of Jan­u­ary and March 2012.  Iman was sen­tenced after plead­ing guilty to two (2) counts of Res­i­den­tial Arson, both Class 1 Felonies.  Iman was arrest­ed in March 2012 fol­low­ing an inves­ti­ga­tion by Illi­nois State Police and the Union Coun­ty Sheriff’s Office.
