Wolf Lake Man Sen­tenced to 30 Months in Prison for Pos­ses­sion of Methamphetamine


The Union Coun­ty State’s Attorney’s Office and Union Coun­ty Sheriff’s Office announced today that Patrick W. McLane (DOB 03-28-1982) of 1515 Belch­er Road in Wolf Lake has been sen­tenced to thir­ty (30) months in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions on a charge of Pos­ses­sion of Metham­phet­a­mine, a Class 3 Felony.  McLane had pre­vi­ous­ly been sen­tenced to a term of pro­ba­tion in April 2010 on the metham­phet­a­mine charge and pro­ba­tion was revoked based upon vio­la­tions of attempt­ing to defraud a drug screen test and anoth­er inci­dent from Novem­ber 2010 in which McLane fled from Cob­den Police result­ing in a vehic­u­lar pursuit.


McLane was orig­i­nal­ly arrest­ed on the metham­phet­a­mine charge on evening of Octo­ber 26, 2009 by the Illi­nois Con­ser­va­tion Police with assis­tance from the Union Coun­ty Sheriff’s Office and Union Coun­ty Drug Task Force.
