Mur­phys­boro Man Sen­tenced to 5 Years for

Aggra­vat­ed Dri­ving Under the Influ­ence of Alcohol

Union Coun­ty State’s Attor­ney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Angel L. Gua­jar­do (DOB 05/25/1978) for­mer­ly of 803 Mul­ber­ry St, Mur­phys­boro, Illi­nois, has been sen­tenced to five (5) years in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions after a plea of guilty on one (1) count of Aggra­vat­ed Dri­ving Under the Influ­ence of Alco­hol, a Class 2 Felony.  Gua­jar­do was arrest­ed for Aggra­vat­ed Dri­ving Under the Influ­ence of Alco­hol on Feb­ru­ary 18, 2013 after a traf­fic stop of his vehi­cle was ini­ti­at­ed by the Anna Police Department.
