Brimm is charged with two (2) counts of Participation in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine, both Class 1 Felonies.  Farris and Taborn are each charged with one (1) count of Participation in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine, a Class 1 Felony.  Brimm is alleged to have produced methamphetamine on separate occasions during March 2012 with both Taborn and Farris.

Each of the five defendants is currently being held at the Jackson County Jail in Murphysboro.

Charges follow an investigation by the Union County Sheriff’s Office/Union County Drug Task Force with assistance from the Illinois State Fire Marshal and Anna Police.

The Union County State’s Attorney’s Office reminds the public that charges are not evidence of guilt.  A defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial in which the government has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
