Anna Man Sen­tenced to Prison for Aggra­vat­ed DUI

Union Coun­ty State’s Attor­ney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Phillip Edward Bai­ley, Jr. (DOB 10/22/1977) of Anna, Illi­nois has been sen­tenced to three (3) years in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions on one (1) count of Aggra­vat­ed Dri­ving a Vehi­cle While Under the Influ­ence, a Class 2 Felony.  Bai­ley will also serve a two (2) year peri­od of Manda­to­ry Super­vised Release (for­mer­ly known as Parole).  Bai­ley was charged fol­low­ing an Illi­nois State Police inves­ti­ga­tion regard­ing a traf­fic crash near the inter­sec­tion of Illi­nois Route 3 and Refuge Road in rur­al Union Coun­ty on Octo­ber 6, 2011.  The charged was ele­vat­ed to a felony based on pri­or DUI convictions.
