Ava Man Sen­tenced to 10 Years for Res­i­den­tial Burglary

Union Coun­ty State’s Attor­ney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Jason A. Ward (DOB 06/21/1983) of Ava, Illi­nois has been sen­tenced to ten (10) years in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions on one (1) count of Res­i­den­tial Bur­glary, a Class 1 Felony.  Cob­den Police and Union Coun­ty Sheriff’s Deputies arrest­ed Ward the evening of March 26, 2013 at a home on Wing Hill Road in rur­al Cob­den after a 911 call was placed from the residence.
