Five Sen­tenced to Depart­ment of Corrections

Union Coun­ty State’s Attor­ney Tyler R. Edmonds announced the fol­low­ing sen­tences to the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Corrections:

Jeanne L. Dal­ton a/k/a Jeanne L. Rowan (DOB 11/27/1970) of 115 Kohler Avenue, Anna, Illi­nois has been sen­tenced to five (5) years in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions after plead­ing guilty to one (1) count of Unlaw­ful Pos­ses­sion of Con­trolled Sub­stance with Intent to Deliv­er, a Class 1 Felony.  Dal­ton was arrest­ed on August 16, 2013 fol­low­ing an inves­ti­ga­tion by the Union Coun­ty Sheriff’s Office regard­ing metham­phet­a­mine and hero­in activ­i­ty at the res­i­dence locat­ed at 115 Kohler Street in Anna.

Matthew D. McAdams (DOB 08-09-1959) of 100 Apple Lane, Alto Pass has been sen­tenced to eigh­teen (18) months in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions after plead­ing guilty to one (1) count of Obstruct­ing Jus­tice, a Class 4 Felony.  McAdams was arrest­ed in Decem­ber 2011 after Union Coun­ty Sheriff’s Deputies were called to his res­i­dence.  Pri­or to his arrest he con­cealed firearms from Deputies with the intent to avoid pros­e­cu­tion for ille­gal pos­ses­sion of the firearms.

David L. Miller (DOB 08/17/1952) of 201 Church Street, Jones­boro has been sen­tenced to one (1) year in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions after plead­ing guilty to Peti­tion to Revoke Pro­ba­tion for the orig­i­nal offense of Crim­i­nal Tres­pass to a Res­i­dence, a Class 4 Felony and Peti­tion to Revoke Con­di­tion­al Dis­charge for the orig­i­nal offense of Con­tribut­ing to the Delin­quen­cy of a Minor, a Class 4 Felony.  Miller was sen­tenced after admit­ting to com­mit­ting the new offens­es of Assault and Resist­ing a Peace Offi­cer in vio­la­tion of his pro­ba­tion.  Miller was arrest­ed by Jones­boro Police in Sep­tem­ber after threat­en­ing two indi­vid­u­als with a golf club.

Paula D. Cauble (DOB 06/22/1963) of 5395 St. Johns Road, Don­go­la has been sen­tenced to one (1) year in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions after plead­ing guilty to one (1) count of Retail Theft, a Class 4 Felony.

Bradley W. Pind (DOB 12/30–1982) of 3020 Cob­den School Road, Cob­den has been sen­tenced to two (2) years in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions with a rec­om­men­da­tion of Impact Incar­cer­a­tion after plead­ing guilty to one (1) count of Theft, a Class 3 Felony.  Pind was arrest­ed by Union Coun­ty Sheriff’s Deputies in Sep­tem­ber after tak­ing an air com­pres­sor from his employer.
