Anna Woman Sen­tenced to Prison for Aggra­vat­ed DUI

 

Union Coun­ty State’s Attor­ney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Jean­nie Leri­ta Hud­speth (DOB 09/26/1964) of Anna has been sen­tenced to three (3) years in the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Cor­rec­tions after plead­ing guilty to one (1) count of Aggra­vat­ed Dri­ving While Under the Influ­ence, a Class 2 Felony.  Hud­speth will serve a two (2) year peri­od of Manda­to­ry Super­vised Release.  Hud­speth was arrest­ed in Jan­u­ary 2017 fol­low­ing a traf­fic stop by Cob­den Police.  The charge was ele­vat­ed to a felony based on pri­or DUI con­vic­tions.  The case was pros­e­cut­ed by Assis­tant State’s Attor­ney Lisa Casper.
