Code of Ordinances

(A) Any per­son who vio­lates any pro­vi­sion of this Code may be fined a sum of not less than Two Hun­dred Dol­lars ($200.00) and not more than One Thou­sand Dol­lars ($1,000.00).  Each day’s vio­la­tion con­sti­tutes a sep­a­rate offense.

(B) The State’s Attor­ney shall bring such actions in the name of the peo­ple of the State of Illi­nois or may bring an action for injunc­tive relief to restrain such vio­la­tion.  Addi­tion­al­ly, any per­son who vio­lates any pro­vi­sion of this Code may be penal­ized in accor­dance with the State of Illi­nois, Depart­ment of Pub­lic Health, “Pri­vate Sewage Dis­pos­al Licens­ing Act”, Sec­tion 19 (225 ILCS 225/19) and the “Pri­vate Sewage Dis­pos­al Licens­ing Code”, Sec­tion 905.205 (77 ILAC 905.205).
