3-4-11 Inspections

For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Chapter and making inspections hereunder, the Administrator, Deputy Administrators, Animal Control Wardens or any peace officer may enter upon private premises to apprehend a stray animal, a dangerous dog or any other animal thought to be infected with rabies or to investigate any other suspect violation of the Act or this Chapter.  If, after request therefore, the owner of such animal shall refuse to deliver the dog or other animal to the officer, the owner shall be in violation of this Chapter and such animal may be immediately impounded.
